Excerpts from workshops with contemporary circus companies (Compagnie Basinga, Buren Cirque & Larue et Compagnie, Compagnie Itinéraire bis)

The "Circus Creatures" protocol was born of my different collaborations with circus companies. Taking the time to exchange ideas about imagination, technical knowledge and the possibilities of bodies (and their decors), the illusion that live performance and still images share. Working together towards the construction of new, atypical characters, towards the spontaneous impulse of the creative act, towards the richness of sharing ideas and constructing meaning.
