Photography, audio, participative photo studio.
In the Secrets booth/studio, visitors are invited to leave a note in a box: something they have been keeping to themselves, that they have never told anyone. They are then photographed: face and profile, superimposed by a long exposure on the same image.
The portraits collected are exhibited in parallel to the booth, accompanied by an audio diffusion of the secrets, which the photographer records using her own voice. The box of secrets is opened every 50 passages, the anonymity of the participants is thus guaranteed. The collection (over 350 portraits and secrets) continues to grow as a fragmentary paradigm of the unspoken, allowing the emergence of universal themes to slowly unfold.
The installation has been activated in different spaces: an artist's studio, a gallerie, a bar, a town hall, a conservatory, a social centre, a library, archives, etc. Visitors are systematically invited to take part in it.
